Highlights from Hola Marketta at Miami Marketta

Last Sunday, Miami Marketta was transformed into a vibrant celebration of Latin American culture for Hola Marketta, and we at Kombi Art could not be more grateful for the overwhelming support from our Gold Coast community.
Celebrating Colombian Independence Day away from home can bring a touch of nostalgia, but events like this remind us of how rich, diverse, and welcoming our local community here on the Gold Coast really is.
A Feast for the Senses
From the moment the doors opened, the energy was electric. The air was filled with the irresistible aromas of authentic Latin street food, from traditional Argentinean BBQ and Venezuelan arepas to Mexican tacos, setting the perfect backdrop for a day dedicated to culture and creativity.
The stage came alive with incredible local talent. Between salsa dance lessons that had everyone on their feet, DJ Dabito keeping the momentum high, and the high-energy performances by bands like Colombiataka and Laverde, the venue was buzzing with rhythm and joy. It was a proud moment to see so many local Latin artists and performers showcasing their talent right here in Queensland.
Art Meets Community
For Kombi Art, this event was deeply personal. It was an opportunity to reconnect with our roots, share Juan Carlos's oil paintings, and introduce our latest apparel and merch collection to both long-time supporters and new faces.
Seeing so many of you stop by our booth, chat about the inspiration behind our pieces, and pick up your pre-ordered items made all the hard work behind the scenes completely worth it. Every conversation reminded us why we do: creating art that captures freedom, vibrant colors, and the coastal lifestyle we all love.
